- Mesmerized - When I finally got to Da Lat, the view of mountains and clouds there mesmerized me, it was so beautiful, I looked at it, unable to say a single word.
- Impeccably - To the outsiders, it was an impeccably couple, but that was because they wasn't there, watch them fight with each other.
- Petrified - I stood there petrified as the image of the truck smashed the body of a poor little puppy on the middle of the road into pieces appeared right before my eyes.
- Stoically - I looked down at my feet, stoically listened to the coach's judgment about the final score of the game, although I didn't agree with it.
- Dissuade - I tried to dissuade David not to rob the bank for money for drugs, but he didn't listen to me, and guess what, he ended up in prison.
- Chaotic - The school canteen was just chaotic, because all of the students of the school were pushing each other to order food at lunch
- Negotiated - I negotiated with my brother so that both of us can use the computer on Saturday and Sunday so that our dad won't have to yell us for fighting over it.
- Acquisition - I like your new acquisition of shoes, can you tell me where did you buy them?
- Corps - In sixth grade, I learned about the Peace Corp and I was very impress about what they did together to help our world better, and I would want to be one of them in the future.
- Commemorate - I will go to Japan and see Sadako's statue in real life, she's a hero to me, although she was dying from the atomic bomb, she still had hope and she also passed the hope to other people.
- Mimicking - She was mimicking the teacher and the whole class was laughing so hard, then suddenly, the teacher walked into the classroom and gave her 2 hours detention for a week.
- Resembles - My dad always says that I resembled him when I was a little girl, but I think I still do now, I walk like him, talk like him, even sometimes I found myself think like him.
